Hi, I'm Theo!

I work on applied cryptography and data security — mostly how encrypted systems leak information, and how to secure them. I'm also into blockchain, fintech, data science, and the mathematics underneath it all.

Education

I'm a Computer Engineering student at theUniversity of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, pursuing a minor in Honours Mathematics. Right now, I'm working at UBC's PETs (Privacy-Enhancing Technologies) lab, where I research defences for searchable encryption against leakage-abuse attacks.

Outside the lab

When I'm not in the lab, I love to travel, play soccer, and learn languages.
